Impressions

The idea that the impression of something, the briefest moment in time, can be captured in art is not new. But the challenge of conveying that passage of time in my art is what drives my work. Nothing is ever still, even the rocks move. This is the sense I want to convey with my work.

I am fascinated by the way the landscape changes in different lights, and under fog. The use of different media in 2 dimensions allow many interpretations of the amazingly diverse landscape that is this earth we live on. Thus, it is an endlessly exciting job to record impressions of the landscape as I see it.
